Adding new members to your Tactick organization

Note: Only Org Admins can add new members to an organization.

Adding and assigning at the same time

You can add new org members and assign them a task, routine, or area at the same time. Here's an example for adding a new org member and assigning them a task — the process is the same for adding a new org member and assigning them a routine or an area.

  1. Go the Design Work section of the Routines screen.
  2. Select the area and routine the task is in.
  3. Click on the picture of the current task owner.

  4. Select the Add new person button beneath the task name.

  5. Enter the person's first name.
  6. Enter the person's email address — or Tactick user name.
  7. Click Add this person.
That's it! We'll add the person to your organization immediately and let them know.

Adding but not assigning

You can add new org members on the Manage Team section of the Routines screen.

  1. Go to the Manage Team section of the Routines screen.
  2. With the Org Members view selected, go to the end of the list of org members and select Add New Person.

  3. Enter the person's first name.
  4. Enter the person's email address — or Tactick user name.
  5. Click Add this person.

That's it! We'll add the person to your organization immediately and let them know. 

Bonus tip: want to add the person now but delay sending them their invitation until after you've made some task or other assignments? You can delay sending invites to new organization members.
