Roles and permissions in Tactick

There are 6 possible roles a person can have in a Tactick organization, each with their own level of permissions for available actions and access.

  • Member — Org members can be assigned areas, routines, and tasks and can only view and edit the items they own. This is the default for new people added to your organization.
  • Admin — Org Admins can add and manage members, add and edit all areas, routines, and tasks in the organization, and can edit the organization itself. We recommend that larger organizations have several Administrators.
  • Org Owner — The Org Owner is the person responsible for the organization's overall performance and manages billing for the organization. The Org Owner is also an Org Admin by default.
  • Area Owner — Area Owners can view and edit everything in the area(s) they own.
  • Routine Owner — Routine Owners can view and edit everything in the routine(s) they own.
  • Task Owner — Task Owners can view and edit the task(s) they own.

You can see a lists of your Tactick organization's Members - and see which ones are Org Admins - by going to the Manage Team section on the Routines screen.
