The Org Owner is the person responsible for the organization's overall performance and manages billing for the organization.
Changing the Org Owner
An Org Admin can make any org member the Org Owner. This will automatically promote the new Org Owner to an Org Admin (if they weren't an Org Admin already). Here’s how to change the Org Owner:
- Go to the Manage Team section of the Routines screen.
- Locate the Org section at the top of the page.
- Click on the current Org Owner's name.
- Select a new Org Owner.
- On the confirmation page, click Yes, make them the org owner.
That's it! This change will take effect immediately.
Impact on Billing
Billing for a given month is done after that month is over, e.g., you'll pay for your April usage in early May. At the time your org is billed, we'll send the full month's bill to whichever org member's name is listed in the Org Owner field. So if in mid-April you change your Org Owner from John to Jim, in early May we'll Jim send the bill for your organization for all of April.
